I enjoyed my stay at the Albany Hampton Inn
“I have to go to Albany several times a year for business. Albany is not an exciting town, however what makes the trip bearable is The Hampton Inn. It is clean and still looks new. The breakfast does the job and the fresh cookies at 5pm always hit the spot. Good choice of cable channels and the proximity to all the government buildings is a brisk, but short walk. Internet is free and reliable - the parking does cost however, but there is no other place to park in Albany and you can leave your car while you do all you need to do business wise. The service has always been superior - from dealing with Jennifer in group sales to the front desk staff. Always feel very welcomed and would highly recommend!“
Great Staff, Friendly Service, Overall Great Stay
“My first stay at this property was very pleasant. As a business woman traveling alone, the hotel upgraded me to a suite on the Empire floor. This is a floor that is restricted on certain days of the week to women traveling alone. It is very nice and truly does make a woman feel safe. My husband accompanied me on my most recent business trip to Albany, so staying on the Empire floor was not an option. Instead we stayed in what I assume is one of the hotel's standard rooms. It was a sleepless night beginning with the two cars of drunks partying in the parking lot across from the hotel. When one appeared lifeless on the ground, I called the front desk to ask that they call the police. Nothing happened. Next came the guests and their friends in the room next to ours. They were having a wonderful time - from 1-4 AM -and it sounded like they were right in our room. Honestly, we could have been a part of the party had we wanted. In truth, though, these people were not being wild and crazy. It“
The Best Place to Stay in Downtown Albany By Far!
“Very clean hotel with a very attentive and friendly staff. I've stayed at a number of hotels in the Albany area and this was one of the better run and better quality hotels in the area. Great free breakfast and I ate at the American Bistro restaurant one night which was pretty decent. Great for business travel.“
